The Miami-Dade Circuit Judicial Nominating Commission is taking resumes for a county court vacancy resulting from the elevation of Judge Eric Hendon.
Interested candidates must submit an application and 10 copies by 5 p.m. Jan. 7 to Marva Wiley, the commission’s chairwoman, at 9999 NE Second Ave., Suite 310, Miami Shores, FL 33138.
Wiley warned her office will be closed for the holidays and will not accept hand-delivered or couriered applications Dec. 24 to Jan. 2.
Applicants from the September vacancies can ask the JNC to reconsider the prior application but must submit two additional copies by the Jan. 7 deadline, she said.
