Flora Seff liked being a judge so much that she’d like to do it again.
Seff lost her bid for re-election to a Miami-Dade county court seat in November and left office last month. Now she’s applying for three vacancies.
Gov. Rick Scott will have an early opportunity to make an impression on the Miami-Dade bench by picking replacements for Circuit Judge Kevin Emas, who is joining the 3rd District Court of Appeal; the late Circuit Judge Roberto M. Piniero; and County Court Judge Beth Bloom, who was promoted to circuit court.
There’s a lot of duplication on the applicant lists.
