Little competition for judge seats so far
About a quarter of the circuit court’s 80 seats are up for election, yet only three seats face competition, according to state records. So far, only one incumbent, Peter Adrien, is facing a challenger, and he has drawn two.
Of the county court’s 43 seats, 11 are up for election. Most of those judges have filed election paperwork with the county so far, but only two face challengers: Flora E. Seff and Lisa Walsh. Three county judges — Fred Seraphin, Wendell Mitchell Graham and Ada Pozo Revilla — have yet to file election papers.
